What do your SEO packages include?
All of our SEO plans include the following:
- Keyword Research: We research keywords with a good balance of high search count and low competition, giving you the best posible chances of ranking high for keywords that will get you clicks.
- On-site SEO: We go over your website, paying particular attention to your home page, and optimize text and tags for your keywords. We focus on the most important tags and getting the keywords to fit into the text; while on-site SEO is important, we've found that there are better methods to improve your ranking than turning your website's content into a keyword-packed monstrosity of mangled English.
- Directory Submissions: We submit links to your site to a selection of SEO-friendly directories with keyword-optimized anchor text. We begin all of our SEO plans with directory submissions, as we have found that these submissions can have a marked effect on improving a site's ranking. Once we run out of directories, we move onto article submissions. Your plan determines how many submissions you receive each month.
- Article Submissions: We write custom, dedicated articles for your keywords, and submit them to SEO-friendly article directories with keyword-optimized backlinks to your site. As time goes on, these articles may get picked up by other websites who visit these directories, who must include these links to put the article on their sites. Thus, even after the submissions, you may see more links accruing over time. You can even post these articles on your site to add new content!
How can I maximize my chances of getting a high rank quickly?
We offer a "jump start" option for an extra $100 in the first month (regardless of your SEO plan). If you take this option, we will submit to all of the directories in the first month, and then move immediately on to article submissions. We have found that this option maximizes the chances of getting a high ranking quickly, and strongly recommend it to all of our clients.
What's the difference between your SEO plans?
The primary difference is in the number of links we submit per month. The $149/mo plan includes 100 link submissions each month, the $299/mo plan includes 300 links per month, and the $499/mo plan includes 600 links per month.
How long will it take for me to see the effects of SEO?
Typically 3-4 months for the $149/mo plan, and 2-3 months for the $299 and $499 plans (the $499 plan is best used to target more keywords, although it can help speed up the process to a degree). However, SEO is not an exact science, and some businesses simply don't have many good keywords to take advantage of. Likewise, we have seen people reach page one in under a month (and our current record is two weeks flat).
Will your SEO plans get me to page 1 on the search engines?
Typically yes, particularly for low-competition keywords, although we cannot guarantee a page 1 position for any given keyword, and the time it takes to get there can vary greatly. Also, we have found that our strategies work best for Google; Yahoo and MSN results typically also occur, but usually take more time.
What keywords will you be optimizing for?
We will find keywords appropriate to your business that are both high in search count and low in competition according to our keyword research tool, and focus on them. You can ask what keywords we are specifically focusing on at any time.
Are your SEO techniques "white hat"?
Yes; we optimize your text withour overstuffing it, focus on important places to put keywords, and submit articles and make directory submissions to get quality, keyword-targeted backlinks to your site.
What other options do you offer for increasing website traffic?
Contact us to see if your site qualifies for SEO on a commission basis. We also offer pay per click consultation for more rapid results (PPC consultation is included in all $299 and $499 packages, and can be added to a $149 package for an extra $100/month).
How can I see proof that you are doing what you say you're doing?
You can contact us at any time to ask for a list of directories we've submitted to recently, a copy of articles we've written, or a list of keywords we're focusing on. Otherwise, we'll be contacting you as we see your website moving up for targeted keywords. You can also use the link: function on Yahoo or the Google Webmaster Tools to see some link growth, although we have noticed in the past that those systems don't always report on every link going to a site, and the time it takes for them to notice the links can vary (also, some links might be rejected).
Do you offer a guarantee on your services?
Since SEO is a competition, we can't guarantee specific results. With that said, if you don't see meaningful results after 3-4 months, we will continue at no additional cost until you have reached page one for at least a couple keywords.
Will your SEO services get me more business?
These services will get you additional targeted clicks to your website, which will usually result in more business. Naturally, once people have reached your website, your text, graphics, and products will have to handle the task of converting them to sales. If you would like to increase your website's chances, you may also want to consider our website design services.
